Hi Sal, Really looking forward to your next screencast. Pretty impressive you are the #1 MODx web designers. Let me check your portfolio. Your screen cast says 1.0.1 but latest stable I am using is 1.0.2.

For me MODx answers all the issues Drupal and Joomla left hanging. They all have their place, but right now I want to learn so I can import my HTML sites into the MODx template. It looks like a solid product.

I'll definitely cover Template Variables & Chunks! I use them quite regularly to create conditional information like sidebar Calls-to-action that you can turn on & off based on the page.

I am new to Modx having used Rapidweaver for the Mac to create my current web site. I am really looking forward to more videos especially one explaining Template Variables (TV's). I would also like to see a series of videos where you actually create a web site using Modx broken down into chapter videos. I could really use these videos to learn from as I learn best from watching videos. Keep up the great work. There is a real need for more Modx videos.

There's a great Modx calendar snippet that's I've been using that integrates with a Google Calendar (http://www.quantum-cmg.com/demos/). I'm a HUGE fan of Ditto, so I will definitely cover how to implement it! Thanks for stopping by and stay tuned for #2 next week.

Justin: Personally I feel CMS's are like the PC/Mac debate. It's simply personal preferences and what it is you're trying to accomplish. Joomla & Drupal were very convoluted to me and not very user friendly. Modx on-the-other-hand has a clean administrator interface, easy to navigate and has a very strong user base and community.

I didn't start using Modx till I worked here and I wouldn't go back to anything different. Bottom line is you have to know what you're trying to achieve with your CMS. With Modx, there's little that can't be done.
